Foundry Collective is a not-for-profit ecosystem platform designed to empower Indonesia’s innovation landscape by uniting the country’s leading voices in technology, business, and policy. Its vision is bold: to unite the champions of innovation and become the trusted, positive voice of Indonesia’s tech and innovation ecosystem — connecting industry thought leaders, decision makers, policymakers, tech companies, enterprises, and global partners to foster collaboration, amplify impact, and catalyze systemic change.

At the heart of Foundry Collective lies a simple belief — collaboration over competition. It is not about ownership or control, but shared commitment: every partner, mentor, and contributor is selected not just for credentials, but for alignment with a spirit of professionalism with a heart for nation-building, deep integrity, and long-term optimism.

That ambition, however, doesn’t live in a single product. It lives across an entire ecosystem — events, an accelerator, a media arm, and a growing knowledge hub — which is exactly why the scope of this project grew far beyond a logo.

Challenge

One Voice Across an Entire Ecosystem

Foundry Collective isn’t one thing — it’s many things working as one. Industry advocacy, invitation-only conferences, a startup accelerator that has graduated over 1,000 founders, a media channel, and an editorial research arm all needed to feel like a single, trusted institution, not a loose collection of programs.

The audience made this even harder to get right. Foundry Collective’s platform speaks to founders and builders in the same breath as ministers, investors, and industry leaders who show up to forums like the Indonesia Food Resilience Forum — decision-makers who need to trust the brand instantly, with no room for a visual identity that feels scrappy or unfinished. The brand had to carry authority in a room full of policymakers and global experts, while still feeling like home to an early-stage founder navigating their first raise.

Our Approach

A Brand System Built to Scale Across Every Touchpoint

Stellaris1 partnered with Foundry Collective across the full brand journey — not a single deliverable, but a system designed to hold together everything Foundry does. The engagement spanned:

Brand Identity — story, personality, vision, mission, and values translated into a visual and verbal system built to flex across many programs and audiences.
Branding Application — consistent expression across collateral, event branding, and digital assets
Website Design — a platform architecture spanning News, Events, Knowledge Hub, and Academy, built to serve founders, investors, and policymakers alike
Editorial Design — Foundry Digest, Foundry Collective’s flagship whitepaper series, produced for the decision-makers who convene at forums like the Indonesia Food Resilience Forum

This wasn’t branding in isolation — it was building the connective tissue between an accelerator, a media platform, a research arm, and a series of high-level convenings, so that whether someone met Foundry Collective through a startup pitch or a policy report, it felt like the same institution.

The Execution

From Vision Statement to National Stage

Brand Identity. The foundation started with story and values — translating Foundry’s not-for-profit mission and collaborative ethos into a brand voice that reads as credible to government and enterprise, while staying warm and energetic enough for founders.

Website Design. The digital platform was structured to serve three very different audiences at once: founders exploring the Academy, investors scanning the Knowledge Hub for market intelligence, and policymakers tracking industry advocacy and events — all under one coherent site architecture.

Foundry Digest — the whitepaper as a decision-maker’s tool. Among the most ambitious deliverables was Food Resilience through Innovation and Technology, a 76-page report produced in collaboration with DailySocial, framed explicitly as an investor lens on Indonesia’s food system. This wasn’t a marketing brochure — it was:

  • A $43.9 billion market analysis, projected to reach $56.3 billion by 2033
  • Deep research spanning national policy (Indonesia Emas 2045), five detailed case studies (Great Giant Foods, Eratani, Chickin, Agrari, Kreasi Pangan), and interviews with a former Minister of Agriculture, startup CEOs, and a BRIN research director
  • A structured investment framework (the “3R Pathways” — Robustness, Recovery, Reorientation) designed to give investors and policymakers a shared language for action

This is the kind of document meant to sit on the table at a forum like the Indonesia Food Resilience Forum — read by government officials, agritech founders, and investors in the same room — which meant the design had to hold its own next to institutional-grade reports from McKinsey or the World Bank.

The Impact

A Platform Credible Enough to Convene a Nation’s Decision-Makers

Foundry Collective now operates with one unified identity across every surface it touches — its website, its events, its accelerator, and its research. A founder discovering Foundry through Academy and a policymaker encountering it through Foundry Digest now meet the same brand: credible, connected, and built for the scale of what Foundry Collective is trying to do — shift Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem from fragmented efforts to coordinated impact.
