Preserving an icon, refining the presence
Warung Ahog has long been a go-to spot for families who crave authentic pork dishes. Originating from Malang and expanding to Alam Sutera and Gading Serpong, it has built a loyal following with its signature flavors and welcoming atmosphere. But tradition alone is not enough to thrive in today’s fast-moving digital and visual landscape, especially in the F&B industry. That’s why we stepped in. Not to replace, but to refine and elevate its presence.
A legacy with a modern touch
This brand revitalization attempt was more than just a visual refresh. Warung Ahog needed a structured identity that could serve as both an aesthetic and functional communication tool. From character design to supergraphics and sticker packs, every element was crafted to enhance the brand’s uniqueness while staying true to what customers already love: its authenticity.
One of the most striking additions was the mascot, developed as an extension of Warung Ahog’s original logo. Rather than creating something entirely new, we extracted key elements from the existing design and reimagined them into a more expressive and versatile character. This allowed for a seamless blend of heritage and modern appeal, ensuring the mascot could be applied across various media while still feeling original.

Beyond visual branding, the revitalization also extended to packaging design. We crafted illustration-based designs for Warung Ahog’s hampers and thermal bags, ensuring that every touchpoint, from take-home meals to special gifts, carried the same visual consistency. These packaging elements reinforced brand storytelling in a way that felt personal and thoughtful, elevating the overall dining and gifting experience
Honoring the past, shaping the future
Instead of a full-scale rebrand, we focused on a strategic refresh that preserved Warung Ahog’s essence. The original identity was respected, while key visual elements were refined to improve consistency and appeal. With a well-paced one-month timeline, every design decision balanced continuity and innovation.
A crucial aspect of this process was the development of supergraphics inspired by Warung Ahog’s core visual themes. These elements, ranging from stylized meat textures to patterns resembling smoke and ribs, added depth to the brand’s identity. They were designed to be flexible yet recognizable, reinforcing the restaurant’s distinct personality while offering creative ways to extend its visual language across different platforms.

Seamlessly collaborating with the internal team
One of the challenges was ensuring Warung Ahog’s team could maintain execution quality with available resources. Stellaris1 developed structured templates and clear design guidelines, making it easy to apply brand visuals consistently. From stylescapes to mascot character illustrations, every asset was created with usability in mind.
By simplifying complex design principles into accessible tools, we enabled Warung Ahog to sustain its brand integrity across all touchpoints. The guidelines were not just theoretical. They were made with practical limitations in mind, ensuring smooth implementation without sacrificing visual impact.
